Research Laboratory of Electronics
Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
Massachusetts General Hospital.
of the laboratory span the auditory system from peripheral to central, from
animal model to human patient, from normal to abnormal function, from
neurophysiology to behavior, and from the molecular and genetic bases of
deafness, to its treatment via hearing aids and cochlear implants.
The laboratory staff includes faculty from both MIT and Harvard Medical
School, along with clinical researchers from the
at MEEI and MGH. A number of staff and students are affiliated with the
HST Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology Program.
